Brewerton is  a wash for Friday August 8th. Coming off an awesome display of driving both nights last week. Everyone was looking forward to racing for a sold out croud at the Super Dirt Series event, But weather forced a reschedule untill next Friday.

On a Scheduling note, the September 5th race at Brewerton that was scheduled to be race 1 of 2 of the 2nd annual "Cherry Picker 1000" (Which is show up points only, and a haven for stay - at - home racers and soccer moms.) . Has been moved to Thunder Alley Speedpark in Evans Mills, NY. The purse is the Caprara's standard 500 to win and 50 to start. The reason for the move was as simple as "Brewerton isnt even open that day!" So I hope I havent offended anyone with the change of venue.

 A little story, and some thoughts on the ESDCA talent pool. Recently in communications with some officials from other sanctions of dwarfs/modlites the conversation of what to do to control engine spending and the usual came up. And I was "TOLD" (not given an opinion) by 3 respected members of the national community that anything that limits HP use (especially tires) would make for a bad show. Based solely on the fact that the current talent pool doesnt have the skill to operate a vehicle in a low traction environment, would just embarrass itself and become a wreckfest. I would like to personally thank ALL of the ESDCA racers for their impressive performances the last 2 weeks on one of the slipperyest surfaces that there is. 4 total cautions, and no vehicle contact accidents proves the national skeptics wrong. Maybe its just their personal drivers that cant hack it.
