Brewerton Speedway has added a midweek show Wednesday September 2nd With the World of Outlaws late models. This is Not ESDCA points but IS track points. The feature is billed and a 25 lap championship event for us.

At the beginning of this season even before the 1st event most if not all members were told that with the change of management at Brewerton Speedway, the ESDCA member card would no longer be valid for pit pass discounts. Many people basically cruised through the lines anyway and got away with it for quite a while. Recently when the ticket personell were caught up on the procedure, There was a lot of resistance from members who felt they were being slighted. There is no reason whatsoever for anyone to be yelling at or hassleing track employees over this matter. You werent supposed to get the discount from the beginning!

Why not focus more on the fact that speedway management thinks our show is worthy of support for the WoO show, and focus less on the negetive.

A side note about the recent event at Utica Rome Speedway. Track management and the fans really enjoyed the show, and it was one of the most professional presentations we have had in recent history. 20 laps clean and green, under some difficult driving conditions with multiple types of slickness on the surface. All the drivers showed plenty of respect for each other, the fans, and especially the officials. I look forward to much more of the same. Please take the time to thank John Tiff (Brewerton speedway scoreing and gatekeeper) for his influence in our oportunities at Utica Rome.

The ESDCA liscence is still valid for discount at Cayuga County and Thunder Alley Speedpark
